My passion for helping teachers live healthier, happier lives comes from a deeply personal place.
I’ve spent years in and around the education sector, not just as a coach, but as someone who’s seen firsthand the challenges that teachers face daily.
My own journey towards becoming a health coach started long before I realised it would be my calling...
Back when I was teaching, I started to struggle.
During my 8 year career, I threw myself into my work, always striving to give my best, just like so many do.
But over time, I started to notice the toll it was taking on me. Long hours, high stress, and constantly putting others first meant that my own health began to slip through the cracks.
I was always exhausted, my stress levels were through the roof, and I wasn’t feeling like myself.
It wasn’t just physical health either—mentally, I was struggling to keep up with everything.
It wasn’t until I hit a real low point that I realised something had to change. After an extremely challenging year, both personally and professionally, I broke down - a story for another time...
After I was diagnosed with chronic stress and anxiety,
I began to research and explore different ways to improve my health, both physically and mentally.
The common theme I found was that health & wellbeing advice was complicated, confusing and often contradictory.
So I got myself a coach. I started small, making manageable changes to my habits: how I ate, how I exercised and how I managed my stress.
Slowly but surely, I began to see a light at the end of the. Not just in how I felt day-to-day, but in my overall outlook on life.
That’s when it clicked...
If I was a teacher struggling in the sea of diet dogma, unrealistic wellbeing wisdom and unhelpful health advice - there must be so many others!
I realised that teachers who, like me, give so much to the children they teach often neglect their own needs in the process. I wanted to change that.
So, I qualified as a Nutritionist, then a Mental Health & Exercise Coach, with a specific goal of supporting my colleagues across the education space.
Five years on, I've now worked directly with over a thousand teachers through 1:1 & group coaching, my courses, school sessions and our members' app.
My mission is simple: to help you regain control and create confidence with your health by building bitesize behaviours so that you can keep doing the incredible work you do, whilst living a life that you truly love.
I understand the unique pressures of the classroom and the demands of the job, which is why I tailor everything I do around teacher life. Whether it's through my social media content, personal coaching,
our community app or in school - I’m here to help you build back balance between your work and your wellbeing.
Together, we can make your health a priority, because you deserve to truly life a life you love
— and when you do, everyone around you benefits too!
